Layered Cyanotypes - Radyr bridge over the Taf River

This series of images blends a close up of a pattern or texture within the main image, which is then bleached before another Cyanotype layer and image is developed creating a multi-coloured print.

I enjoy seeing nature reclaiming space from man made constructs. In this image I was taken by the lichen growing on the beams of the bridge which became the background layer. This was my first layered Cyanotype.
